Audio is not playing
Check that your device volume is up, Silent Mode is off if needed, and no other app is holding audio output. Try stopping all sounds in Ambient Audio and starting a new mix.

Sleep audio recording requires microphone permission. You can review permissions in the Settings app under Ambient Audio.
Apple Health access is optional and controlled by iOS. Open the Health app or Settings app to confirm Ambient Audio has permission for the sleep data you want to use.
Open Ambient Audio, go to Settings, then use Delete Saved Data. This removes local saved data from the device.
